Fort San Pedro is one of the oldest fort in the Philippines, it is triangular in shape and made of stone and mortar. The tree bastions are La Concepcion, San Ignacio de Loyola and San Miguel. If you are in Cebu City and want to see some historical sites, this is the place to go to. It is quiet place to hide away from the busy city life.</p>
<p>More on this and pictures after the jump!<br />
<span id="more-64"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_7DZVmUdoR4U/SIlC2ImJEoI/AAAAAAAADG0/aaYZYGxAEN4/s1600-h/DSC_4566-1.JPG"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://pinoyportal.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/de0b0_DSC_4566-1.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a></p>
<p>Get inside the fort and just enjoy and relax there are a lot of spots where you can walk or sit and just enjoy the day. There is also a souvenir shop inside the fort that are selling native products from this city. And if you are thirsty or hungry they also offer some drinks and snack foods, nothing heavy for the stomach.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_7DZVmUdoR4U/SIlC2Y5XLWI/AAAAAAAADG8/IRLCcrhAQ1Q/s1600-h/DSC_4567.JPG"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://pinoyportal.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/de0b0_DSC_4567.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">You can really see and feel that the building is very old and still have the feel that the architecture of the place is very Spanish. The garden is very well maintained, lots of flowers and very green.<br />
<a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_7DZVmUdoR4U/SIlC2YLpf-I/AAAAAAAADHE/rnfvxCaPv_M/s1600-h/DSC_4582-1.JPG"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://pinoyportal.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/29370_DSC_4582-1.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The place is not very big if you compare it to Manila’s Intramuros. It is triangular in shape and if you walk from one point to the other you can see the whole place in just 15 minutes. So just enjoy the place and relax.<br />
<a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_7DZVmUdoR4U/SIlC2ujJ1YI/AAAAAAAADHM/dyCLYx2HwOs/s1600-h/DSC_4586-1.JPG"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://pinoyportal.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/29370_DSC_4586-1.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a><br />
This is a favorite place to visit to not just by foreigners but also for locals who are not into malling. The place is quiet and there are not a lot of people around. Not much to buy when you’re hungry and the entrance is very cheap. Around Php25.00, that beats going to see a movie that will cost you in Cebu Php100.00 or more. And people around don’t really mind so it is a favorite place to get cozy with your date.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_7DZVmUdoR4U/SIlCUWZnMHI/AAAAAAAADGE/FzhL21gI4P4/s1600-h/DSC_4608-1.JPG"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://pinoyportal.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/29370_DSC_4608-1.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a></p>
<p>Just look at the couples that are really into each other. Bonding and getting to know more is very easy in this plce and relaxing, too.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_7DZVmUdoR4U/SIlCUlMICsI/AAAAAAAADGM/3xFvv9axERg/s1600-h/DSC_4602.JPG"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://pinoyportal.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/29370_DSC_4602.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a>See what I mean!<br />
<a href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_7DZVmUdoR4U/SIlCUvqHIZI/AAAAAAAADGU/U6Al3voCY_g/s1600-h/DSC_4600-1.JPG"><img src="http://pinoyportal.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/55ec1_DSC_4600-1.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a></p>
<p>Just like a scene from a romantic movie!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_7DZVmUdoR4U/SIlCU1Hdr5I/AAAAAAAADGc/5FFklX5oqF0/s1600-h/DSC_4594-1.JPG"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://pinoyportal.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/55ec1_DSC_4594-1.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a></p>
<p>And a nice place to see the fort and its historical past.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_7DZVmUdoR4U/SIlCU-CzOuI/AAAAAAAADGk/SqS5LLxsAOg/s1600-h/DSC_4591-1.JPG"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://pinoyportal.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/55ec1_DSC_4591-1.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a></p>
<p>So, what can you say about this place. A must see if you are going to visit Cebu City.</p>
